Key responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and help them find the right products for their pool needs.
• Water Testing: Perform water testing to provide accurate advice on chemical balancing and treatment.
• Sales and Transactions: Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system, handle transactions, and process customer orders.
• Inventory and Store Maintenance: Restock shelves, maintain an organized sales floor, and manage inventory to ensure product availability.
• Technical Support: Advise customers on pool maintenance, explain product usage, and schedule in-store services or deliveries.

Skills and qualifications

• Customer Service: Ability to build rapport with customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills are essential for explaining products and services.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with pool chemicals, water testing, and equipment is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and a basic understanding of pool maintenance is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Needed for accurate water testing and inventory management.
