Pool Purchasing and Receiving Manager

Position Summary
The Purchasing & Receiving employee will assist with purchasing activities and day-to-day warehouse operations. This position will support ordering, receiving, inventory management, vendor coordination, and the organization and movement of materials throughout the warehouse. The employee will work closely with purchasing, warehouse, accounting, and operations teams to help ensure materials are available, received accurately, and properly stored.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing and ordering materials, products, and supplies as needed.
• Assist with sourcing vendors and obtaining pricing, availability, and delivery information.
• Track deliveries, and outstanding orders.
• Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
• Verify received materials against orders and report discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Load and unload trucks and assist with the movement of materials throughout the warehouse.
• Store materials in designated locations and maintain an organized warehouse.
• Assist with identifying inventory needs and replenishment.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding material needs, deliveries, and inventory.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts, when authorized and properly trained.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and warehouse practices.
• Assist with general purchasing, receiving, and warehouse duties as assigned.
• Other miscellaneous tasks as requested by management.
