About the Role
Elements Pool & Outdoor is seeking a Senior Pool Technician to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role combining routine pool maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, working under a licensed Florida contractor.
We’re looking for someone with prior pool industry experience who can take ownership of their work, think critically, and contribute to both service routes and repair projects.
This position also includes involvement in remodel and upgrade work, including liner replacements, redesign and advanced pool coatings (we do not do traditional plaster finishes).
Who This Role is For
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has experience in pool service, repair, or construction
- May come from a service route background and wants to grow into repairs
- Or has repair/build experience and wants consistent, year-round work in a more predictable daily routine
- Has worked in pool retail or supply/distribution and understands equipment and chemistry
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool service and water balancing
- Diagnose and complete repairs on pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.)
- Identify issues and recommend solutions to customers and team
- Participate in remodel projects (liners, coatings, equipment upgrades)
- Document work using company software (Skimmer app)
- Work independently on assigned routes and tasks
- Collaborate with other senior technicians on repairs and troubleshooting
- Assist in training or mentoring junior technicians when needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in pool service, repair, construction, or related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude (plumbing, electrical, or equipment experience a plus)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors year-round
- Professional, dependable, and able to work independently
- Comfortable interacting with customers and representing the company
