Pool maintenance tech

Somar Pools has an immediate opening for a pool maintenance tech. Duties include cleaning swimming pools, maintaining chemicals and equipment. This is a good position for someone who does not require constant supervision, field checks are performed to ensure the jobs are being done to our quality control specs.

Experience as a pool maintenance technician is not required, but you must have a strong work ethic and a desire to perform above expectations. We provide the truck and the tools necessary.

Responsibilities

· Provide outstanding customer service and take responsibility for the ongoing maintenance needed for our growing customer base

· Routinely inspect equipment for problems

· Water chemistry testing and proper application of chemicals for water quality

· Brush, skim, and vacuum pool and/or spa

· Clean various types of filters as needed

· Empty pump and skimmer baskets

· Adjust timeclocks if needed

· Represent the company to the customers with friendly and respectful service

· Communicate with office staff to ensure customers are taken care of and booked for new or upcoming business

Skills

· Some familiarity with Automation Controls and operation is a plus

· Experience with Jobber is a plus

· A valid driver's license and insurable

· Ability to pass a background check

· An outgoing, positive-minded, and confident personality

· Reliable transportation to and from work

· No experience is necessary, we will train the right candidates

· Physically move around freely and adapt to overcome problems

· Reliable and punctual

· Must have a clean driving record

· Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
