Overview

The Regional Sales Manager position will oversee growth for the company’s Florida Territory. This role reports to the National Sales Manager and works in conjunction to ensure adherence and execution of the business growth strategy. This role requires building relationships with pool industry professionals, including pool builders, pool service providers, distributors and local AHJ’s.  Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and technical acumen in addition to being highly organized and able to execute plans to achieve desired results.  Salary plus un-capped commissions.

 Role and Responsibilities:

  • Direct and motivate a professional sales team to accomplish the company’s objectives.
  • Expand the customer base within your assigned territory through direct personal contact with potential and existing customers.
  • Successfully build sales volume, maintain, and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Possess a strong working understanding of sales channels, the decision-making process and influence product mix to optimize account growth
  • Maintains the skills and knowledge to sell the entire product line to all applicable buying channels and can differentiate each product line against the competitor's products in front of the customer.
  • Pro-actively address customer concerns and escalate as appropriate in a timely manner
  • Leverage the CRM for territory management and reporting
  • Represent the company at customer, company, and industry sponsored events

Qualifications

  • + 5 Years of overall sales and customer support experience in the pool industry
  • +3 Years direct experience managing customer relationships with direct and indirect customers in the Florida market
  • Ability to travel up to 3-4 days per week including over night
  • Proficiency in using technology tools including email, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and CRM
  • Possess an in depth understanding of the distribution model & Florida territory
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive and solution oriented
  • Must currently reside in Florida
